SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" is a state-owned enterprise working in the areas of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment. SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" in the field of standardization directs its activities at participation in the adaptation of Ukrainian legislation to European, the introduction of the New Approach Directives of the European Union (EU), the harmonization of national standards to the international and European ones. SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" is a Ukrainian metrology institute, developing and maintaining the National Measurement Standards. Availability of the standards enables obtaining the most accurate measurement results and provide metrological traceability in all areas of science and economy in the country. Based on the results of the international comparisons under the CIPM MRA, the CMCs of SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" were included in the KCDB database. SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" is a conformity assessment (certification) body in Ukraine, consisting of testing centers and laboratories equipped with advanced equipment. The National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine assesses their competence annually and they also participate in the national and international rounds of proficiency testing. SE "UKRMETRTESTSTANDART" assists domestic producers in obtaining the certificate to access the European market, performs product testing for conformity to EU legislation requirements in its own test centers and laboratories, all of which are internationally recognized
