Consultations on Climate Innovation Vouchers with Dmytro Kovalchuk

23.02.2022

The latest online Consultations on Climate Innovation Vouchers for potential participants of the project will take place tomorrow, February 24, at 1:00 p.m.

We invited the winner to this meeting Climate Innovation Vouchers Dmytro Kovalchuk, co-founder of the company "Red Wave", which developed the technology of 3D printing with titanium wire of parts intended for work under conditions of high loads, vibrations and extreme temperatures, in particular, in the aerospace industry.

The technology, called xBeam 3D Metal Printing, is significantly cheaper, safer and faster than 3D printing with titanium powder. In addition, during wire printing, emissions of greenhouse gases are many times smaller than during powder printing.

Thanks to Climate Innovation Vouchers, the company received software for automating printing and integrating its 3D printer with leading programs for computer-aided design (CAD systems).

Today, the company has patents in the USA and Germany. Red Wave also built and tested Europe's first large industrial metal 3DP xBeamGrand system.

In 2019, the company's Red Wave printing system was purchased by the British Welding Research Institute for the UK aerospace industry.

Dmytro Kovalchuk will frankly tell the participants of the consultation about his path in Climate Vouchers, what mistakes should be avoided in the project and about the further development of his company on the international market.
