11 Ukrainian companies became winners of the fourth wave of the final phase of the project \"Climate Innovation Vouchers\"<\/a> - the largest grant competition in Ukraine for innovators in the field of climate-friendly technologies, a kind of Ukrainian climate \"Oscar\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the support of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development<\/strong> and European Union<\/strong> These companies will receive a total of EUR 384,241 for the development and implementation of green innovations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official award ceremony for the project winners took place at Unit.City in Kyiv. This event was a landmark: in addition to the award ceremony, it presented the results of eight years of Climate Innovation Vouchers in Ukraine, introduced leading grantees, and demonstrated the project's contribution to the development of Ukrainian cleantech.

To celebrate the achievement, the event brought together ecosystem leaders, investors, donors, international partners, and government officials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The award ceremony included a panel discussion \"Green innovations through war: how Ukraine is shaping Europe's climate future\"<\/em>. It was attended by the Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) Anna Zamazeyeva,<\/strong> President of the DiXi Group think tank Olena Pavlenko<\/strong>, co-founder and CEO of Input Soft Anastasia Smyk<\/strong>, climate technology entrepreneur, investor, author of the podcast Another ClimateTech Ryan Grant Little<\/strong> and co-founder of the Greencubator NGO, expert on climate innovation Roman Zinchenko<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the start of the project in 2017, more than 50 Ukrainian companies have received support from the EBRD and the EU under the Climate Innovation Vouchers for more than \u20ac2 million. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"For me, the greatest achievement of the Greencubator and the Climate Innovation Vouchers project is the creation of a space for innovators to meet, share their experiences and develop them further. I believe that this has been the starting point for many of the exciting ideas and innovations that we saw recognized six or seven years ago and that are now blossoming and entering markets in the EU and beyond.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the current very challenging circumstances, it is especially important for Ukraine to showcase and multiply these positive achievements. We've already seen how defense technology and drones have impacted Ukraine's image, and Climate Innovation Vouchers can similarly highlight other innovations in broader sectors - ones that Ukrainians have the capacity to scale and spread far beyond the country's borders.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
