Project Description

Engineering Innovations is a Lviv-based company that has developed and patented a new technology for building from prefabricated concrete, which is resistant to seismic influences of up to 10 points and uses 50% less concrete for every m2. The technology is a beamless option for a structural building system. Structure stability is achieved based on the stability of each element individually.

Under seismic effects of low intensity, the bearing structure of the building operates rigidly as a monolithic structure, ensuring both strength and a desired level of comfort under the wind load, unlike the seismic system based on metal-rubber supports, which are less rigid and may allow displacement under the wind loads. Under seismic effects of medium and high intensity, the structure of the building works as a sustainable mechanism with a very high energy dissipation rate. The structural system uses constructions and joints which may redirect a portion of seismic energy to overcome gravitation forces during seismic events.

To confirm the Beneficiary’s technical indicators, the Beneficiary needs an independent specialized organization to verify the calculations and perform structural tests for its reinforced concrete. This will allow Engineering Innovations to proceed to the next stage – construction of an experimental building.
